The MC10 is a simple and rugged stereo monitor controller based around the famous Alps (Japan) “Blue Velvet” potentiometer. The MC10 features main inputs on balanced 6.5mm TRS jacks, a selectable auxiliary input on 3.5mm TRS jack (for connecting personal music players and laptops) and balanced TRS outputs. Construction is hand-wired and point-to-point and enclosed within a sturdy diecast aluminium box, which is not only durable, but excellent for shielding. The MC10 is finished in a durable “robot silver” powder coat.
The Alps potentiometer offers excellent L/R tracking and the all passive design ensures no distortion, noise or colouration when connected to low impedance outputs and high impedance inputs, as is standard on modern equipment.
